Come and join us to develop new ideas about what a “Smart UN” could look like.

Digital technologies play a central role in fostering participation and sustainability in political processes. Is this also the case for global governance institutions like the United Nations? Which digital tools could make the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) more transparent (e-information)? Could a participative process help produce more innovative solutions to some of the most urgent problems the UNSC is currently dealing with (e-participation)? What would be on the UNSC agenda if the world population could vote on its priorities (e-consultation)?

If you are a new technologies enthusiast or passionate about international politics – come and join us for this virtual card game together with our partners – the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) and Dezentrum – to develop new ideas about what a “Smart UN” could look like in a fun and inspiring way.

Register here to join us online from 5-6:30pm on 9 November 2021. For more information, please visit our event page on the Swiss Digital Day website.
